Many of you will know of us from Wrigglies Vivariums, the manufacturing arm of Wrigglies Exotic Pets, which was set up in 2019 to produce high quality vivariums and enclosures for trade and retail customers.

Dan Crallan managed the workshop and logistics since its inception and in May this year he and his wife Shelly (who deals with design/sales/accounting and pretty much everything else!) bought the manufacturing side of the business making it a completely independent company, under its new trading name of Mammoth Vivs.

Dan has many years experience of keeping snakes, lizards and other exotics and he, after managing a specialist exotic pet shop, decided to return to his love of woodworking to build the habitats for the creatures he knows so well. Building vivariums and other enclosures comes very naturally to him and combines his extensive knowledge of both his hobby and trade enabling Mammoth to produce a carefully considered range of products.

For those of you who previously dealt with us in the past, you can be assured to receive the same robust, quality products, but with improved turnaround times (many items are to be held as stock) and a wider range of bespoke product options. The business continues to trade from its current manufacturing base in rural Bedfordshire where all vivariums, tortoise tables and enclosures will continue to be hand built and finished to an industry leading standard.

In addition to our standard sizes and specifications we offer ‘one off’ bespoke and built in options and can provide a full range of complimentary cabinetry, fittings and fixtures to give you a one stop solution. We also offer a ‘fit out’ service to shops, collectors, educational establishments and other organisations and can offer advice on specific design features to meet your precise requirements.
